Imaginary Force is a creative studio based in Los Angeles. I first heard about them through the this year's Graphika Manila, as they were one of the guest speakers of the design event. If you check out their website, you'll see that they have a wide variety of branding identity but they also do a lot for TV shows and films.
Here are my top three favorites:
Imaginary Forces gave the iconic Marvel logo a refresh, by adding depth and using scenes from various Marvel comics. The theatrical logo first appeared on Thor: The Dark World and every Marvel film since then.
They were also responsible for Marc Webb's 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zoey Deschanel.
The latest work that they did is the iconic logo of Netflix's hit series, Stranger Things. The show is so successful that there's even a site that lets you generate your own Stranger Things version. You can check the website at makeitstranger.com.
